After the extreme weather events we’ve seen across Europe this summer, from drought and heatwaves to increasing pressure on water resources, we thought it was a good moment to discuss water management and the future of European agriculture ??
We’re organising a Farm Europe discussion next Tuesday, 8 September, from 17:30 to 19:00 at the European Parliament in Brussels, hosted by MEP Carmen Crespo.
We’ll bring together MEPs, agricultural stakeholders and experts to discuss how we can make European farming more resilient and competitive through better water management. We’ll also present some of Farm Europe’s recent work on water.
