DESCRIPTION:The Joint Initiative on Circular Economy (JICE) brings together
  the EU’s largest public promotional banks and institutions (BGK – Poland\
 , CDC – France\, CDP – Italy\, EIB\, ICO – Spain\, Invest-NL – the Netherl
 ands and KfW – Germany). \nAgainst the backdrop of the expected EU Circula
 r Economy Act and a shifting regulatory environment\, JICE is launching a 
 webinar series to deepen market understanding of financing needs\, gaps an
 d bottlenecks for the circular economy across selected sectors.\nThis seri
 es is designed to showcase the perspectives of sector representatives acro
 ss the value chain: from producers and manufacturers to recyclers as well 
 as a broad range of stakeholders such as municipalities\, innovators\, sta
 rt-ups and investors\, each with their own viewpoint on financing needs.\n
 It will draw on contributions from policy makers and stakeholders across t
 he value chain to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping circula
 r economy financing.\nThe fourth webinar will focus on plastics. \nIt will
 :\n\nReview the state of play of the circular economy in the plastics sect
 or\, highlighting emerging industrial models and key challenges across the
  entire lifecycle. \nDiscuss investment needs and persistent financing gap
 s along the plastics value chain\, from design and production to collectio
 n\, mechanical and chemical recycling. \nDiscuss public and private financ
 ing sources\, available financial instruments and the barriers that still 
 hinder investment in scalable circular plastics projects. \nPresent case s
 tudies and good practices from companies\, recyclers and innovation actors
 \, illustrating what works and where obstacles remain. \n\nThe webinar aim
 s to generate practice-based evidence to support dialogue between market p
 articipants and financial institutions and shape financial solutions for t
