 2\, FIP is a non-governmental organisation with its head office in the Net
 herlands. Through our partnerships and extensive pharmacy and pharmaceutic
 al sciences network\, we work to support the development of the pharmacy p
 rofession\, through practice and emerging scientific innovations\, in orde
 r to meet the world’s health care needs and expectations.\nLeader of pharm
 acy at a global level\nMolecules become medicines when pharmaceutical expe
 rtise is added. In turn\, pharmacists — through ensuring responsible use —
  optimise the effects of these medicines. FIP is recognised as the leader 
 of pharmacy at a global level. We continue to expand our presence\, within
  pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences\, and influence through partnerships
  with some of the world’s leading health\, policymaking\, education and sc
 ience institutions.\nIndividual membership\nFIP has eight pharmacy practic
 e sections and nine special interest groups (SIGs)\, to develop projects a
 nd initiatives. All individual members of FIP are automatically a member o
 f a Board of Pharmaceutical Practice section (or Board of Pharmaceutical S
 ciences special interest group) of their choice\, through which they can i
 nteract with pharmaceutical colleagues with similar interests from all ove
